Life after cancer..
Is AMAZING.
I have never felt better. God has it all figured out. As of right now I am just enjoying being CANCER FREE, and growing my hair back. I am going to go back to school, just not at this moment. SOON though. My husband, best friend, and family have been by my side through the past 7 months. Could NOT have done it without them. Talks with my husband, talks with my best friend, Laura, and can't forget the late night runs to Starbucks and movies with my big sister.
(Sister on the left, best friend on the right). These past seven months have taught me SO much. How strong I actually am, WHO my actual friends are, and it also brought me closer to God. I can not say that I am thankful that I was dealt the hand of "cancer", but it makes you see things in a whole new way; and that's a fact. Stephanie is cancer free, too.
We can finally say that we MADE IT! It's done. All of the CRAP that we had to endure from chemo treatment. The nausea, the throwing up, loosing our hair, our skin color changing in places, our immune system's SUCKING, people staring at us everywhere we go without a wig on, and then you STILL feel like they are staring at you. And, we get it, we're young girls who are bald. People wonder, we probably would too. That doesn't mean it's any less annoying. Our feelings of being a WOMAN were taken from us. And it's not fair. I still don't understand it, and I may never know His plan, but I know they are greater than mine. I am so happy that it is gone, and I am all better now. Love you Steph. We made it, girl.

So happy you are all better Emily. I have never had the pleasure of meeting you, but I know your sweet mom. If you are anything like her I know you are a joy to all that know you. I am so happy that you are "cancer"-free and pray that you continue to feel better. Stay strong and God Bless you and your family. :)
